I can understand why people chose so many Phantom songs. It's one of my fave musical theatre shows. But, c'mon... Don't you pull up his songs and LISTEN before choosing? There are OTHER songs out there.

I'm not a huge Idol fan, but Mrs. DA is and I watched last night because of the Lloyd Webber theme because I've seen almost all of his musicals in NY, London or here in Denver.
I turned to my wife late in the show and wondered why all of these rockers weren't singing from Superstar or Joseph.
They really didn't do their homework.
As for Phantom, I'd guess it's his most famous and successful musical and maybe they had at least heard of it.
