this kind of sounds like the phi mu's at our school. they tend to be REALLY fake. most of them do walk around like they are something special and everyone needs to want to be like them or something. from what i understand of it, the phi mu chapter here has some problems with their sisterhood (this meaning they put on a great show at social activities and during rush about how great their sisterhood bond is and then tearing eachother up in meetings and in private). unless you are 5'9 and weigh 115lbs the phi's here think that you aren't good enough for them. they believe very strongly in keeping up this "perfect" image and (again) from what i understand, they can sometimes treat their sisters badly to make sure they live up to the image they want.
i am not downing phi mu's as a whole, because i am friends with a couple of them here, i am only talking about the chapter at my school. i understand that images of chapters are different from school to school (just like azd's), this is just simply my opinion of the chapter at my school. sorry if i offended anyone out there who is part of a great phi mu chapter!
