I've loved the book and I thought the movie was okay. My friend who hasn't read the book loved the movie.

They did leave a lot out in my opinion - especially more info about the Last Supper (Peter, the disembodied hand with a knife, etc), no mention of the Madonna on the Rocks and the other painting. I really think with all the stuff they left out that the Christian churches don't have as much to worry about as they thought that people would be convinced this conspiracy could be true.

Plus, although it did follow the book the ending was changed ever so slightly. I don't want to say more so I don't spoil it for anyone.

Tom Hanks didn't do a bad job as Robert Langdon. Still wish it had been a different actor but he was a believable in the role. I recommend seeing the movie.
