Actually, I have. I've stood in the courtyard in Kilmainham Jail where the leaders of the Easter Rising were executed. I've walked through the burned out shells of churches destroyed by Cromwell. I have no illusions about Christianity's past, but I would point out that the Irish rebellions had a lot to do with Irish Nationalism as part of the Protestant-Catholic Troubles - namely, the Irish wanted their country back.
