I really thought that I knew alot about our heritage until I began reading some of these questions! But here is one that I can answer (thanks for the hint=)
The original recognition quill was a black enamel triangle with the greek letters inside. It was changed at convention in 1922 by the Kappa chapter(UofI) to the miniture quill.
Who received the first jeweled quill and what jewels were used?
