Ohio Zeta lost a member this morning

Julia Hayes Turnbull, a senior mass comm. major and a member of Ohio Zeta was one of the three Miami University students that died in an early-morning off-campus fire.

I saw this on the news this morning. Very tragic.

My thoughts are with her family and friends and the Ohio Zeta Chapter.

OMG, she went to my high school. I knew her fairly well, we had a lot of the same classes together and we would go out together occasionally. I knew she pledged pi phi, but I'd never think I'd read her name on one of these threads.

My prayers go out to her chapter, she was an amazing and intelligent person. We've lost an amazing young woman.

Oh no! How awful.

Prayers for the chapter and her friends and family, as well as the other victims.

That's so sad. My thoughts to her family and chapter.

Also, my condolences to the family and friends of the other victims.

Only Julie was a Pi Phi. Kate and Steve were both unaffiliated.
