Delta Tau Delta Initiates Two Chapters...
From www.delts.org
03.25.05 - Duke and UCLA approved for installation
The Fraternity has approved the installation of colonies at Duke University and UCLA.
The Delta Kappa chapter at Duke University will be chartered on April 16, 2005 in Durham, NC. 91 men will be initiated into the Delta Kappa chapter. The installation banquet will occur on Friday night, April 15 and will feature Fraternity speakers and Brother Richard Wagoner, CEO of General Motors.
The installation of the Delta Iota chapter will occur on May 21, 2005 in Los Angeles, California. Nearly 55 men will take their oaths as a part of the new chapter. The installation marks a phenomenal turnaround for the colony who began the year with 17 members.
Congratulations to both colonies!

Congratulations!
From this 10.11.04 The Daily Bruin article, it looks like the Delts may have a shelter (house) lined up.
Quote:
...if all goes according to plan, Delta Tau Delta fraternity will finally have a place to call home.
Located at 649 Gayley Avenue, next to the Sigma Alpha Epsilon house, the fraternity's future house has been occupied by graduate students and other renters for the past several years.

TSteven,
Thanks for answering Rudey's question. I'm pretty sure, and the article seems to confirm, that the "shelter" was kept by the House Corp and rented out while the chatper was dormant.
I certainly can't argue against Rudey's point about these campuses being better places to colonize than Colorado. Too bad.
Best of luck to our two newest chapters and almost 150 new soon to be Delt Brothers.
