Happy Birthday to Lambda Chi!
Congrats on your Founder's Day. Your chapter at Texas seems to be doing some great things! http://www.texaslambdachi.com/
Especially this bit of history: In 1917, the 11th chapter was founded here at the University of Texas. We have initiated over 1850 men into our brotherhood. Our chapter was the first chapter in the nation to eliminate the idea the "pledge", with the creation of the Associate member. An Associate member holds all the rights of an active, he can vote, hold all offices except ritualist, and do anything else not involved with ritual. Our National Chapter quickly adopted this policy making it the first national fraternity to abolish the term "pledge", and it was later adopted by many other national fraternities.
