I'm going to visit my brother in Hollywood with my mom, sis, niece and nephew, where are some places to go to? We're leaving home Friday and leaving L.A. on Sunday, so our tourist day is on Saturday.
I know I want to go to Rodeo Dr., is it worth it? Gotta cram everything into one day. argh.
Just a warning... I was SOO disapointed when I went to Hollywood for the first time...it's a bit ghetto (except for the part that is near BH) don't be suprised at all the homeless/strange people walking around near the chinese theatre or anything. Rodeo drive is worth it if you have money to spend, or really enjoy drooling over things you can't afford (as I do everytime I go there). Definitely go up in the hills and get close to the sign, that is a cool photo to take. I don't know if you'll be staying around Hollywood only, but if you go to other parts of LA the museum of tolerance is pretty intense and worth going to. I also visit the greek store by USC everytime I go to LA. Also if you're seeing more than just Hollywood I would say to Venice beach and the Santa Monica pier.
