Gifts for Little

I need some more ideas on little sorts of gifts/crafts I can make for my Little Sister! I get one this semester and I want to be able to give her some really cute, kinda unique sorts of presents!!!

penguin stickers from a craft store on anything glass i.e. fill it up with bath crystals, layered cookie mix, colored sand/salt

i am sure there are some great ideas for things that could be done with your other symbols like the compass and the white rose

One of the easiest things, that everyone seems to love, are laminated letters.

Get poster board and cut out you letters, then choose a fun wrapping paper that fits your little's personality or something that represents your sorority. Wrap the letters in the wrapping paper, then take it to a local copy shop like Kinko's and get them laminated.

Its easy, fairly cheap and with the letters being laminated they will last forever, and your little can put them on her door, wall, or whereever.

Sounds like a really cute idea, plus you could "customize" with names, initiation date or something really personal.

Good idea. I like really fun crafty things like that. I use to work at an elementary school and i use to do fun things like that for the kids in my group, but didn't think of something like this. Used wrapping paper to make decs for birthdays, like balloons and stuff. never thought of laminating them. Thanks for the idea.

Well depending on the time frame, they have cute "stand up" photo holders on greek101 type stores online or probably in your own store. I got one for my little it was a pink block with a wire and a turtle on top that held pics. I also got a plain ceramic pot from a craft store, painted it pink and put our letters in rhinestones on the pot and grew some flowers. I agree with the letts/magnet ideas and I like the picture fram idea as well. You might want to check with others in your chapter since sometimes there are unofficial rules as to when new members can have stuff with letters. Just a thought, good luck!

There are a lot of things you can get your little. Either buy them or make them. I made my litte a pillow cover with our letter one it. The fabric was of her favorite animal. I also got her a pin box, our family stitches, and I made here a family tree. The family tree was on the back of a star (my family name is Stars). I also bought here a picture frame that said Big/Lil Sis on it. You can also go to greek101 or and of the online greek store and buy her stuff with your letters on it.

I just got my first little this semester. Mainly i got her things with turtles and daisys (our mascot and flower) on them. some ideas would be to get a clear candle holder and some glass paint and paint on your letters and such, or also doing that on a clear flower vase, coffee mug, flower pot (for a desk for pens or even plant your sorority flower or one close to it in it) stuff like that is always nice.

At Wal-Mart you can find all sorts of blank things to paint. Buy a wooden cigar box-type box and decorate it with sorority stuff (symbols and things) for a cool jewelry or photo box!
