Okay, I am really into the Kevin Smith movies and I can't wait to see this one (Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back)! Anyone else?

While I think Jay and Silent Bob are hysterical as part of a large cast (clerks, dogma, etc), i'm not sure I want to see an entire movie with them as the main guys. We'll see.

The trailers do look funny though.

snoochie boochies...
These guys are hilarious, and the best part about kevin smith is that his boys are in most of their movies (afflect, jason lee, damon, etc.) along with many other big stars. I heard this movie is stock-piled with big name camios.

Kevin Smith movies are definitely an acquired cinematic taste. I think his movies are hilarious but they take watching at least twice to pick up on all the details. My roommate and I just recently went through a "Kevin Smith phase" and we watched his main 4 (I don't know if there are any more) in like 2 days. I think I'll wait a week on J&SBSB and hear the reviews before rushing to the theaters. Does it come out this Friday or next?

I am totally obsessed with Jay & Silent Bob movies! I can't wait for this one to come out! I am so excited! I think it will be alright to have them be the main people in the movie b/c they play a pretty big part in "Dogma." Either way, I am so stoked for this movie!

I'm so in love with Kevin Smith's movies. I love how they're all intertwined with the characters and places. For example, Clerks and Mallrats overlap with the death of the girl in the swimming pool. Randal and Dante go to her wake in Clerks, and she had just died the day before Mallrats took place. The relationships of all the characters are just insane. I can't wait for Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. It's going to be so great, but unfortunately, it's going to be the last of the "Jersey" movies.

I just talked to my boyfriend who is a huge Kevin Smith fan and he told me there is going to be a sneak preview of J&SBSB this saturday at selected theaters. To find out if one is near you go to www.movietickets.com and plug in the date (Aug.18) your zipcode and the title. It will show you theaters within a 15 mile radius and if there is a sneak preview of this movie. For example mine for Tallahassee came up at AMC 20 at 7:30 pm.
Just thought that some of you guys might be interested

Hey Lil G, add lindros to the lineup, and it is a stanley cup winning cast for sure, lol. Hey it looks like the trade did go through, the people on the philadelphia eagles boards are laughing at new york for doing this. My thoughts are.... even if lindros scores 65 with the rangers it won't matter becasue their team is crap.

Thumbs up

I went and saw J&SBSB today and I really liked it. I think if you're not a Kevin Smith fan (or at least seen some of his movies), you won't understand and appriciate this movie.

My favorite parts were (in order)
1) Ben Affleck & Matt Damon making fun of themselves (GWH2)
2) Jason Biggs & James Van der Beek making fun of themselves
3) Chris Rock doin' his thing
4) Cameos & Comments at the "movie premire"

I just came back from seeing this movie. I thought it was the best Kevin Smith film yet. My favorite part was when silent bob screamed at Jay.
