MLK Jr. Holiday

How did your chapter celebrate?

My chapter hosted a city-wide breakfast with guest speakers and youth presentations. Later we will have a march and talent show. Thankfully we had a great turnout for the breakfast.

MLK Jr. Holiday

Hotep Brothers. Bro. RBL this past Saturday a number of Chicagoland chapters held events in commemoration of our beloved brother. Today, I am going to gather up a few youth in my neighborhood and take them to the DuSable Museum of AfriKan History and spend some quality time with them. Here in Chicago it is really disgusting how commercial the holiday has become. Furniture stores, car dealerships are advertising "MLK SPECIALS" not to mention the hypoKKKrisy of the Mayor of Chicago sponsoring so-called "Interfaith Breafast" programs in which a flock of "NEGRO" Preachers are to flock downtown to some five-star hotel and eat some burnt bacon and watery eggs only to return back to their neighborhood/communities and continue selling-out their very own. For it to be a Federal Holiday today is rather interesting. Here in Chicago parking meters are not paid on Federal Holidays for Lincoln and Washington nevertheless, the good old Irish Mafia here in Chicago KKKompliments of "Mazza Maya Daley of Chicago" has reverted the practice and parking meters are to be paid. Chicago business as usual.
