That's a shame. I saw him in Promises, Promises on Broadway, for which he won a Tony. (1967, I think)

Versitile and outstanding actor.

Extremely sad - I'm a huge Law and Order fan, it really hasn't been the same since he left the show.

So Sad, Jerry was just getting his new Law and Order.

Loved him in many shows. Really got to know Him with Anggie Landsbury show.

Droll, but funny at the same time!

Jerry, you will be missed.

I am a huge Law & Order fan and I literally had tears today when I read that he had died.

And don't forget, he was also Baby's father in one of the greatest movies OF ALL TIME, Dirty Dancing.

I used to watch Law and Order all the time, and he's really the only person I remember on there. So sad.
