Rushing Gamma Phi Beta

I am planning on rushing Gamma Phi Beta this fall in San Diego and was wondering if anyone would be interested in writing a recommendation?

Send me a pm with your email address and where you are living currently and I'll try to put you in touch with an alumna in your area.

Hi! I am interested in rushing Gamma Phi Beta at San Diego State University this spring (the Beta Lambda chapter). I have heard many good things about Gamma Phi Beta and I have several recommendations from alumna lined up. Although I am generally unfamiliar with sorority procedures, I have been told that they are currently over their membership total. Does this mean that they will not be accepting any more members this spring?
Thanks!

Yes, normally if a chapter (any chapter, not just Gamma Phi) is at or over total, they will not be participating in informal recruitment. Now, IF a large number of seniors graduate in December, they could have open spots in the spring.

The greek life office (or whatever SDSU calls it) should have more info on what groups are going to participate in any spring recruitment. I would suggest contacting them. I would also suggest going through spring recruitment, you may find a house that you love. There's no guarantee that you will get into any specific house during recruitment. Besides, you might find out that you don't really fit into our chapter.

Thanks for the advice!
I'm definitely going to go through spring recruitment. I've been scouting out the different chapters at school and I've met a lot of nice girls in Gamma Phi Beta (and I happen to know a lot of alumnas from Gamma Phi Beta to write recs) so it's among my top three for the time being.
