When I went to London 2 years ago, we took the Eurostar out of London, instead of flying. It is probably a lot cheaper, so you might want to look into that. I remember it took us only 2 hours to get to Paris from London -- it's sort of like a really really fast train, I think it goes under the English Channel. And I suggest trying to get to Lucerne, Switzerland. It is sooooo beautiful & you will feel awesome once you get to the top of Mount Stanserhorn (or maybe that was just lack of oxygen...) Anyway, have a great time! I'm jealous!

I am surely not from the UK, but once there, don't miss Cornwall in the southwest of England with beautiful sandy beaches and Scotland with Edinburgh, Sterling and St. Andrews (Prince William goes to School there...).
Have lots of fun!!!!! And don't eat beef!

Well I have lived in the UK for a few years now, and I'd like to say: don't make the mistake of spending all of your time in London! It's a great place but there is so much to see here beyond London....
for budget flights from London to the rest of Europe, I would recommend the following websites: www.ryanair.com, www.easyjet.com, www.go-fly.com
Good luck and ENJOY!

You are soo lucky, London is great! Definitely hit Piccadilly Circus in downtown London, ride the underground, got to Bathe and Stonhenge in Northern England because you get to drive through the wonderful rural countryside. There are a lot of fun places to go to in England, but be weary of those annoying tours packages because they stop at every torist trap and force you to spend money at dumb little shops. Have fun!
