Transfering
I'm transfering to a school that does not have an Omega Psi Phi chapter (Johnson & Wales Culinary School Denver,CO). How would I go about attaining membership at my new school/ location?

At least one of the Johnson & Wales campuses has Greek life, but I'm not sure if it's the Denver one.
If so, imagine the probate.

Soror, their rules may be different from ours.
ETA: It is a four year University that awards baccalaureate degrees.

The Denver website does not list any of the D9 so if they are there, then I suspect DST is a citywide or core chapter attached to another school. I only saw any of the D9--DST, Iota, and Kappa listed on the Florida site.

Your right I sure did. I must fix that. Look MeezDiscreet lets stop this non-sense before it goes too far. I'm not trying to see who has the best crack, I just want to get some good, solid information on becoming a member at my new school. So, you win. But if you or anybody else can offer me any info I would appreciate it. Lady greek I could have been wrong about who was at the Denver campus. That is where I applied and they sent me a view book, I guess that is the only Greek life that they offer at anyone one of their four campuses. Sorry! Please forgive me.

No need to apologize. But there may be a reason there are no D9 listed on Denver website. So it would probably be hard to try to start an Omega chapter on the campus. But, like I said maybe there is a citywide chapter you can look into.
ETA: Both of the DST chapters listed on the RI and FL sites are citywide chapters. Thus, they aren't actually J&W based chapters, but recognized at the school as student organizations.

I just went surfing their site. While it appears they do have greek life at various campuses, ladygreek is right in that the D9 presence is at the Florida campus and at their Rhode Island campus (which I'm assuming is where the viewbook was created from as it has the organizations you listed present). And I have to say that laidback was right in that you need to contact Omegas in Denver to find out what you need to do there in order to join.

A friend of mine graduated from J&W at the RI location, and he is now a member of Omega Psi Phi. Even though it's a culinary school, he got his BA from there.

It's not just a culinary school they have other programs but they are mostly known for their Culinary program. If possible could you find out how he was able to do it. That would be Great.

Actually, I was quite impressed about what I read about the school. It isn't just turning out chefs, but chefs and others who will be able to be entrepreneurs and executives in the hospitality industry. Good stuff!

Exactly, that is how my friend is. He went there to become a chef, and this is something that he talked about as far as the training not only to become a good chef, or a great chef as he stats all the time, but the training for them to become entrepreneurs and key executives in the hospitality industry.
