Officially Engaged!
I am now officially engaged. It's a long story but basically, my fiancee Mike & I always knew we would get married. We finally made it official by going out this past week & he surprised me by taking me to a Robbins Brothers & letting me pick out the ring of my dreams. I was stunned but so happy. Unfortunately, I can't pick up my ring yet b/c it's specifically designed to my tastes so it won't be ready until the 23rd so when I get it, I'll post a picture of my beautiful ring. I'm so happy & wanted to share the news with all my sisters in Sigma Kappa.!

Well, he asked me if I wanted to go shopping & I said o.k. I figured we were going to go buy the stuff he needed for his surfboard. I closed my eyes & semi-napped on the way b/c I have the tendency to get carsick. When the car stopped, I opened my eyes & realized that we were not at the Del Amo Mall. I asked him where we were at & he just laughed. We got out of the car & that's when I saw the huge sign for Robbins Bros. The Worlds Largest Engagement Ring Store. I started laughing & as we walked in, he told the receptionist in front that we were there to pick out my engagement ring. He then turned to me and asked me to marry him in front of the clerks. I said yes while laughing. The guy who helped us was really nice & when he asked Mike what price range, Mike told him that I could pick out whatever I wanted. He would pay whatever the cost. I knew exactly what I wanted. I wanted a princess cut platinum 1 carat solitaire. I ended up with a 1 1/2 carat ring. It's beautiful & exactly the ring I dreamed of although a tad bigger than I had expected but I'm not complaining. It was fun but sadly, my ring won't be ready until the 23rd b/c the diamond is being set into a different band & it has to be sized. When I get it, I'll post pics!
