I guess I just need people's good thoughts.

My parents, change that my mother, is getting on my very last nerve.

I casually mention today that in two weeks I am going to buy something for my new house and I want to store it in the garage. The next thing I know I'm getting attacked about "not putting enough money away" and too "not ask me (my mom) for money when I can't come up with the closing costs".

Ugh. All I said is that I'm going to buy a new desk unit from my brothers store (staples) that is 100 bucks. Mind you I'm getting roughly 1400 a paycheck now that I'm contracted. I said I'm putting 650-700 a paycheck away for the house. Suddenly that's not enough. Hello, one paycheck could cover my mortgage payment!!!!! I get that I have other bills to pay and whatnot once I have the house, but I still have other bills I have to pay now.

It's just so annoying. They didn't want to even listen to me. I've made the decsion that the MINIMUM that I must put away every paycheck is 650, but if I can afford to put more away I will. I just wish they would stop their damn talking and bitching and actually take a moment to listen to me. But unfortunately with my mother, that is a next to impossible task (can y'all tell we don't get along).

Thanks for "listening" y'all. I just really needed to get the frustrations my parents are putting on me off my chest.

Brianna,

It sounds like a good thing that you're moving out! When is your house going to be ready?

IN FOUR MONTHS!!!!!!

I'm so excited!!!!!

I'm also happy that the house will be done in time for convention because I have already offered a place to stay for sisters who don't want to pay for the resort but want to attend convention.

smiley, I feel ya. I'm sick too today. I think I look like death warmed over.

Then my principal is like "you should have called in". First off I haven't had the time to register with sub finder and second they are so hard pressed for subs in the district that I just know they wouldn't be able to find one for my class. We'll see how I feel tomorrow. I've got a doctors appointment at 2:45 so hopefully they will give me drugs and I can start feeling better.

My mom was attacked and mugged today- she's fine and they caught the guy and recovered her stuff- but I think I need prayer to get over the anger and somewhat "un-lady-like" language I used earlier when referring to this scum.

The somewhat humorous side (if there is one) is that her purse was unzipped, so when he grabbed it, her wallet fell out and he didn't notice- so all he got was her cell phone and photo ID for school (she's a teacher)! HA!

TN-TX ADPi, I'm so glad that your mother came out okay from the mugging! AND, I hope the perpetrator is quickly caught and tied to an ant hill.

Fellow sickies, lend me your prayers! I had a campaign meeting yesterday, and told everyone to stay away from me, DO NOT shake my hand, I am sick! I will drag this sick carcass to the polls tomorrow and do my part for my 3 hours, deliver the results, make calls (assuming I have a voice), then come home and collapse. I really, really wanted to go to the Election Night Party, but I'm going to have to seriously rally in order to make it.

I'm having a hard time with this, and figured this was the best place to put it.....

We have to put my cat to sleep later tonight (around 6pm my time). My niece and sister-in-law came over (both are very knowledgeable about cats) and said that her liver is enlarged, and she's jaundiced around the ears, in her mouth, etc. It's really hitting hard because I've had this cat almost half my entire life (we got her when I was either 12 or 13, and I'm going to be 25 in May), which is the longest any of my pets have ever lived/stayed with me (I tend to have bad luck with them). It's torture for me to hear her crying in her room, and everytime I think about it I start to tear up.

Anyways, please just pray for me (and my family) to make it through these next couple of hours as we begin the grieving process and learn to live life without her in it.

Putting down your pet is one of the worst things you'll ever go through. Please know that I'm praying for your peace, and if you need to talk, I'm here. I've been there, and it took me YEARS before I could even touch another animal.

My brother's dog, Shiloh, just passed away. He had lymphoma, and had survived 4 chemo treatments, but the fifth one just wore him out. Shiloh was such a gentle dog, and was like a child to them.

Then, I just heard that a woman that was a majorette with me was killed in a very bad car accident. So much sorrow...
