I have Windows XP, so I'm not sure if you have this and it will work for your power point too...but all you do is click INSERT then MOVIES AND SOUNDS then SOUND FROM FILE or PLAY CD AUDIO TRACK. Then you can select the sound file you want and a window will pop up and ask if you want it to play automatically in the slide show. If not, it will replay every time you change slides. If you choose PLAY CD AUDIO TRACK, a window will show up with MOVIE AND SOUND OPTIONS, where you can select which track, how long to play it for, loop, etc.

Good Luck dude!

P.S. Just because I take computer classes on Saturdays doesn't mean I'm a geek

This WILL fuck you in the butt bobs, if you're planning on using the presentation on any other computer but the one it's on.

Powerpoint doesn't embed the audio - I've recently spent about 10 man-hours (that's like 44 hours billed to the customer) trying it, and you can't do it (according to MS). Basically, insert it like above if you're going to play it off the computer the sound file is on (or if off CD, you'll need the CD in the drive when you play it).

PM/IM me w/ questions boss, I just spent a ton of time doing this.
