We pay $1094, which covers insurance, escrow, and taxes. Not too bad for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house in Maryland. We're happy and it's a hell of a better deal than wasting money on renting separate apartments.

I live about 15 miles outside of DC and I pay $980 (no utilities included) for a one-bedroom with a balcony. It's the cheapest I could find in Montgomery County in a nice, decent building in a nice, decent neighborhood. I didn't want a roommate.
$829 CDN (exclusive of utilities) for a small 2 bedroom apartment. Which is actually expensive here considering the size, but it actually a high quality apartment (good carpet, good tiling, good appliances) so it's worth it.
