ALL GLOs - Omega Chapters
I'm researching Omega chapters. Does your GLO have one? If so, where? If not, is it reserved for the deceased or simply removed from chapter naming?

Ours was at the Chicago Conservatory. The school is no longer in existence, hence, neither is the chapter!

Alpha Sigma Phi does not use the Greek letter Omega or any combination of Greek letters ending in Omega to designate any of its chapters. It is reserved to respectfully pay tribute to deceased members of our Mystic Circle; members who enter Omega chapter are usually listed by initiating chapter and year, followed by Omega and the year of death. Example: Louis Manigault, Alpha 1845, Omega 1899.

University Of Kentucky.
That is Pi Kappa Alphas omega Chapter.
But Alpha Sigma Phi's method of using the omega chapter is a very honorable concept and i even think it is cool.

Delta Zeta had an Omega chapter at the University of Oregon, but it is currently inactive.
In case you're interested, when one of our sisters passes away, we say she enters the Flame Eternal.

Tri Sigma doesn't use Omega in chapter designations. It's reserved for those sisters who pass on.

I don't know if this is a Tri Sigma thing or just something that the chapter at my school did, but they skipped over the Omega pledge class so to speak and use the Omega class as the class for all the sisters who have passed away.
