Ok just got home and I have a headache!! I dont know how girls go through this with 10+ sororities, I only have 3! Oh but my headache isnt a bad headache its just taking everything in.

Well lets see where do i even start...

I was asked at the end of the night by one of the girls in my group which one I like the best and I simply replied "its hard to tell" And that was my complte honest answer. Tonight was so quick with each organization that I cant tell at the moment which group I felt the best in. However...

Giants- This group I felt that all my conversations were on a personal level rather the forced talking. I enjoyed this.

49ers- If i had more time with them I think the conversations would have gotten better more like the Giants. But this was my final group of the night so it went pretty quick.

Gators- Enjoyed this group however i felt that the conversations were a little to rehearsed. So that made it hard to talk.

Overall the night went well. I cant wait to have more time with each group tomorrow night. But like i said before i dont know which i like the best.

OOOH Question when another girl in my rush group asks me questions about which i like etc. should i answer back or just keep it to myself?

just wanted to leave you a quick "good luck" from a fellow PNM.

I'd say that it's up to you whether or not you want to name favorites. My rush group is very open and honest and has good discussions, so I'm mostly ok with telling them who I like. It's nice to have a group of girls who are just as rushed and stressed as you to talk to things about, in addition to your rush counselor. =)

As far as talking to the pnm's, you should do what you feel most comfortable with. I never went to FR on the pnm-side, so I couldn't tell you pros and/or cons of each. so all i can say is go with your gut instinct!

I tend to believe that it is best to keep your thoughts on each chapter to yourself at the beginning of the process. There's something powerful about "declaring yourself" early in the process and then you might feel awkward later on when you either change your mind or get released. Toward the end, it may not be such a big deal and hopefully only done in a setting where you feel absolute trust with whoever you're speaking with. I know that I thought I was most interested in one group on day one, another group on day two, and then all of the sudden realized that there was one group that was consistently on my list was my true favorite, but being ignored!! Fortunately for me, I got it straight by preference. I don't know how it would have affected my thought process if I had actually told people what I was thinking throughout the week. Hope this is a helpful perspective. Have fun and good luck!

I know its alot to take in, but remember you are there to have fun too!! I know when I went through rush, one of my best friends went through with me and we were told to not say much about our thoughts on each group to keep us from influencing each other. Just remember that not everyone will have the same opinion of each house, so continue to keep an open heart if you do decide to discuss it!

Ok well I a fun night but I want to start off by saying that today i got a phone call from a family friend of our saying she went Pi Phi at chico!!! So congrats to her and the ladies of Pi Beta Phi!

So that news just totally pupmed me up for tonight. Tonight was so fun. I like it so much better then last night. Each group was so creative and all so sweet.

Gators: These girls love eachother and have a great sisterhood. You can totally tell, however I dont know if its the group for me. It was really hard to keep up a conversation but there is always tomorrow.

49ers: They had the most adorbale skit. You can tell a lot of time was put into it. it was awesome. I got a chance to really talk to these girls and have some great conversations. They were adorable.

Giants: Loved them! This group really stood out im my mind tonight. When i think back on the night i re-live this party and the girls i talked to.

So day 2 went really well. I'm having a lot of fun. And I have met some really cool girls in my group which makes it better considering i went into this alone. And these girls and I dont talk about our "favorites" Which i like. Its going to be fun to see what happens.

So tonight went so fast, but enjoyable fast. Every house had the cutest themes and the most creative skits to go along with it. I had a blast tonight!!
I have also made a few good friends throughout the process and I would have to say the best part is we dont talk about our "favorites" at all. I dont know if I'll even see them at pref parties tomorrow, but i think no matter what happens we'll still be friends.

Ok well a lil about tonight...

Giants: I really like these girls. I felt really comfortable with them and started seeing familiar faces who recognized me back. I had some really awesome conversations about anything and everything with these girls too.

Gators: I'm happy to say i had one of the best conversations out of the whole night with one of the girls. I felt tonight went so much better with them. But at this point I dont know if they are the fit for me.

49ers This group was so adorable. I really liked these girls, at least the ones i met. It was very hard to meet a lot of them but the ones I did talk to were fabulous.

So tomorrow is pref...kinda nervous, dont know if and how many I will get invited to. (the max is 2) This whole process has been so fun and whatever happens, happens. I'm glad I went through it.
