Elon's formal recruitment is usually the last week of January during the week between winter and spring terms. However, they don't have that week off this year, so I think they are still figuring out exact dates.

Some groups are COBing this fall and Tri-Delta is colonizing, but freshmen must have 12 hours completed at Elon to join a sorority.

I remember when I was in school, all the sororities typically did their informal events the same week (which would usually be the second week in September) with the Friday being bid day. So likely the sororities participating in informal recruitment will all be doing at least some activities the same week as your chapter (and then may continue to COR throughout the semester).
