My chapter chose Vacations... Night 1: Camping, Night 2: Cruise, Night 3: Skiing (was postponed), Night 4: Greece (postponed), Nigt 5: Pref, and Day 6: Welcome Home (bid day). I actually have some pictures from Winter Night (we set up the rooms and then Panhel had a meeting and decided to canel because only about 20 girls showed up because of the hurricane)

This is only 1/2 of my chapter, we had alot in class and 4 Recruitment Counselors.
Im the one on the floor with the pink jacket and blue fuzzy hat!

Hey Ashley,
Welcome to Greek Chat.
I'm not sure how much time you have for you informational parties but have you ever played "people bingo". Basiclly create a blank "bingo" card on excel. Then in each of the boxes type in some different things that you people have to find out about someone. For instance - you can put things in such as
someone who is the same major as you
is a transfer student
someone who was born in the same month
has visited another country
dated someone you met on the internet
is an only child
etc. You get the idea. Just any type of things you can think of fill the board with. Then set a time limit and have people go around asking someone else that question. Once they find someone they ask their name and write it in that block The trick is the person may fit more then one category but, if there are enough people playing, they can only put that persons name on one of the blocks. Once someone gets a bingo you verify it by asking the question and reading the persons name. Then the person who's name it is should say yes or no.
Does that make sense,
Carolyn

Today was Greek Life Bid Day for all informal sorority recruitment and formal fraternity recruitment. We took in 5, freshman aren't allowed to receive bids till Spring semester. So that is a decent size fall class....

Beta Omega pinned 11 ladies last night. There is one lady taking her 24 hours to accept her bid and the are possibly extending 2 more this week. That is 14 if everyone accepts!
(and they only had 9 ladies before this) I am very proud of my sisters!
...and I may be helping out on advisory board.
