to me, it is either ABC's response to the shows on WB and FOX or today's "My So Called Life".
it looks okay. i might check it out from curiosity.

It looks like it could be good. I agree that it is the guy version of "My So-Called Life". The funny thing is that MSCL got canceled b/c of poor ratings, maily due to the fact that it was up against "Friends". Now this new show will be up against "Joey", which could mess up its chances too.

if it's up against "Joey" then it is also up against "The OC" which will also hurt its ratings/chance.

I refuse to watch "Desperate Housewives" because it's that show's fault that we have to wait until January for Alias. *pouts*

come on now DWAlphaGam I'm going to be missing my Alias too (but JJ's going to be pretty busy with Lost). cutie- is Desperate Housewives taking over that Sunday timeslot?
life as we know it looks like it will be from the perspective of guys instead of gals (like from MSCL)-which would help me in the aspect of getting into my boyfriend's head that's for sure

I FEEL your pain. I'm still ANGRY that we have to wait until January until Alias starts. Especially since now I've bought season 3 and I'm totally caught up with what happened last season and I'm dying to know what Syd read about project 74 (or was it 47?)
New shows, well honesty Joey looks stupid. Ross and Rachel were the reason I watched Friends (even though I watched sporadically). Just off the top of my head I can't think of any new shows that I wanted to watch. I'm more interested in watching my current faves.

I'm just hoping they're serious about running it every week without preempting it the 6kazillion times they did last season. If I turn on the TV for Alias and see some crappy special instead one more time, I'm going to go postal.
PS. Did you watch the fan commentary of S3E1 on the DVD? I'm not a person to watch an entire episode with commentary, but it was just too funny not to!
ETA: Oh, and on-topic, I watched Joey and was throughly unimpressed. Ugh.

yeah I saw Joey too- I think i'll give it another shot before I eliminate watching it all together.
And about Alias-I'm glad that they aren't stretching JJ to thin. With him working on MI 3 and Lost, and Alias-he has his plate full. But it's an amazing compliment to him and exciting for us fans to see his career growing

Here, here!!!!!!!
OMG I was so sick of all the preempting last season. It was soooooooo annoying.
I didn't watch the commentary on that eppy, should I? Was it interesting hearing a fans comments on the eppy?
Speaking of JJ, so I've heard a bit more about Lost and it actually seems like an awesome show. Hey at least I can get a JJ fix since Felicity has long been off the air and Alias doesn't start until January.
Oh speaking of Alias I just read that Jennifer started back to work for the show. Wooo Hoooo.
[hijack] although seeing the new Ben-Jen was quite disturbing. Not that Jennifer Garner isn't adorable but not another Bennifer. Ugh [end hijack]

ASUADPi-LOL about Bennifer, ughhh!
But you're right-there have been a ton of reviews about Lost all very positive-same with Desperate Housewives.
And I agree with you about the JJ Fix-I'm glad I'll be able to his talent come to life on the screen. It premieres next Wed, right?

"Lost" premieres this Wednesday....at the same time as "America's Next Top Model". I hate that. "Desperate Housewives" looks really good. I'm going to give "The Mountain" a try too.
