What's your favorite Movie?
I recently watched a movie that just came out on video. It didn't do very well I don't think, but this movie touched my heart like no other movie has. I can't explain why it did, but I know that this movie just seemed to really pull me in. It's an incredible movie about a young woman's strength. If I think about it long enough, I get teary! Anyway, I think that I've labeled it as my favorite.
"Where the Heart Is"
Other movies I love: Steal Magnolias, Gone with the Wind, The Truth about Cats and Dogs, Grease (musical, but you know what I mean), The Wizard of Oz, Funny Face, and cheesy--but--So I married an Ax Murderer--I laugh my butt off at that movie!

My all time favorite movie is The Color Purple. It doesn't matter how many times I see it, I still cry.

Hey, Stand by Me...good one!
My favorites:
Ferris Bueller's Day Off(in high school, I looked just like Cameron...that movie made life miserable for a while, but it was so good)
The Breakfast Club
The Untouchables (All time favorite)
Dr. Strangelove
The Ten Commandments (Love the grand productions)
Dead Poets Society
The Matrix
Saving Private Ryan
Failsafe
finally, either Toy Story Movie - I got sick of them at first because my two sons literally wore the tapes out, but, the humor is more adult level in some areas - I'd howl with laughter, but the kids didn't get the jokes)
Oops...forgot Liar Liar - "The ******** pen is BLUE!" I laugh myself to tears with that one....

The color Purple is most certaintly up there! I thought I was one of the only people in the world that loved that movie!!!
"Sista... you've been on my mind, ohhh sista... we're two of a kind, ohhh sista..."
But my most favoritest movie in the whole wide world is Coming Home. It's an old vietnam movie with John Voight (boy was he hot when he was young!) and Jane Fonda. It is one of the best romances of all time! I totally recommend seeing it!
After that, I would have to say...
Braveheart
Clash of the Titans
The 60's
Forrest Gump
Green Mile

I too love:
Gone with the Wind
Steel Magnolias
Grease
Wuthering Heights (with a hunky Lawrence Olivier...ooh la la!)
If I may make a suggestion, run, don't walk to see Billy Elliott. It is an AWESOME movie, Oscar material for sure!
If you see it, please come back and post and tell how you liked it. You won't be disappointed!!!
