Cool Pensacola Greek Shops?

Hello! Is anyone here from the Pensacola area (or familiar with it)? I will be there this week for a business meeting and wondered if there were any Greek merchandise shops in the area.

Thanks!

Jennifer

There are not, to my knowledge, any Greek shops in the area. The UWF bookstore has Greek items, but none relating to Phi Mu, since there's no chapter there.

Enjoy the area!

Ask information if there is a university bookstore for the University of West Florida in Pensacola. That is probably as close as anything.

Yes, as per my other post--UWF does not have a Phi Mu chapter; the closest one is at FSU, 3 hours to the east. Therefore, it would be highly unlikely that they would carry Phi Mu-related items.

A few of my HS friends went to UWF (grew up about an hour away). Quite familiar with the area and what they do and don't have.

I have no idea what Munchkin03 is saying...

Well I grew up in Gulf Breeze (right next to P'cola) & spent 18 of my 19 years of my life in GB (heck it takes 5 min to drive thru my town to get to P'cola, so I practically live in P'cola coz there's no malls or ANYTHING in GB since it's a retirement upper-class type of town). I'm very familiar with the area since I live 30 min away from UWF and 1.25 hr from UofSouth AL and like half of my HS graduating class decided to stay local for college by going to UWF or USA instead of going far away...
Anyways yeah this is an old post but just for future reference if you're EVER in the NW FL area again, the nearest Phi Mu chapter is NOT 3 hrs east away at FSU in Tally...

Not sure what Munchkin03 is talking about, but if you're at UWF, hop onto the JCT for I-10 by the school, head about 45min-1 hr west, get off at the exit that says University of South Alabama. There's signs everywhere & the exit is close to the school too, like how UWF & I-10 is, you won't have to drive around town lol. There's a Phi Mu chapter there at USA, and they have a bigger selection of Greek stuff since USA has a bigger Greek system with us AGD, you guys PhiMu, AOII, KD, and XO...whereas UWF only has us AGD, ADPi, and PhiSig.

Hope you had fun with our white sandy beaches! Oops I sooo meant white "broken down coral" on that one, not white "sand"! That's something I miss dearly when I'm far away from home coz east coast beaches aren't that great in my opinion. Now that Hurricane Ivan roared thru and flattened ALL our sand dunes & washed sand over the island, I don't think anything will be back to normal for a long time. Hopefully the entire FL Gulf Coast is still holding onto the title of "World's Whitest Beaches"!!
