Jehovia's Witness...
Is anyone here a Jehovia's Witness? What is the deal with the number 4400? There is that new show coming out, and a friend of mine who lives in Vancouver watches them film all the time. Anyways, he says they are always blowing things up and stuff... but isn't there some connection between 4400 and JW? Sorry if this is weird, it is sort of a bet, if you will...

Do you mean "144,000"?
If so, it refers to the "small flock" of people who are going to go to Heaven (as opposed to an earthly Paradise as the JWs believe is going to be every good mortal's fate--the others have 1,000 years to clean up or they're going to be dead forever).

Munchkin~no there is a movie that is supposed to come out on the USA network called 4400. I think that's what they are talking about.

I knew a guy once who would listen very politely and then say "No, thank you, i'm a satanist. care to join us?" and then when they said no or something to that affect he'd say "Oh. Ok then, bye!" and just shut the door.
not that i approve of that since one of my friends is a witness. but even she admitted that it was more funny and creative than saying "Get the hell off my lawn!"
