Handbags, shoes, other fashion
Good morning, NPHCers and others who can play nice. 
In view of some of the tension that's been going down in GC, I thought it may be fun to create our own handbag/shoe thread. Feel free to share your deals, your wishlist, etc.

I'm not trendy, a fashion plate, or someone that has to have the latest fashions. . .I just want a dang bag that will hold all my mess! I keep getting larger bags with more compartments, and then the bag and all compartments fill up!
This completes my wish list.

My recent handbag purchase is from Banana Republic (I tried to post a pic of the bag, but to no avail). Anyways, it's the Suede Bamboo handbag.
My bag is dark turquoise.
After I purchased the bag, I realized that I had to go and buy outfits in the same color. Silly me.

I'm not trendy, at all, Soror. When you're, ahem, a certain size, you can't follow trends. I just like well-made basics and classics.

Steeltrap (and any other LAers and NYers), I don't know how far away you are from LA, but here is one of the best sample sales EVER. www.billiondollarbabes.com
The Billion Dollar Babes' sale takes place only in LA and NY. You have to be a registered member to receive an invitation. I went to the last one in NY and got several top of the line pieces for 80-90% off! And they serve cocktails! There is another one in NY on 6/26 and I'll be there. I think the next one in LA is in September. I'm even considering purchasing a membership, just so I can be one of the first ones to get a peek  .

They are small, inexpensive and CUTE. Will post a pic later!
