Another Jew Decapitated

http://www.cnn.com/2004/WORLD/meast/...idnapped~claim

"The video published on the Islamist Web site is said to show the death of Robert Jacobs, a 63-year-old employee of Vinnell Arabia Corp.

Jacobs was gunned down at his home in the eastern Riyadh neighborhood of al-Khaleej, which contains several residential compounds for Westerners, according to Saudi police and Jacobs' company.

The man's face is never seen in the video, and there is no way to immediately confirm it is Jacobs, a native of Murphysboro, Illinois.

The video starts with Arabic text that reads, "The murder of the Jewish American Robert Jacob, who worked for the Vinnell espionage firm."

The attack begins with men yelling, and then a series of 10 gunshots is heard. One attacker is seen holding a pistol and firing it at a man who falls to the ground after the first shot. The gunman then stands above the fallen man and continues to shoot.

There is an edit in the video after the shooting stops. Two men are seen bending over their victim, one of them making a sawing motion at the man's neck."

I sincerely hope this isn't true, but I worry it will be and that he is Jewish and that did affect his treatment. For these dogs, it's all just another sport. Murder is sanctioned by their muftis, taught in their madrasas, and the added sickening mutilation and decapitation brings them as many virgins as they can stone.

Daniel Pearl, Nick Berg, Robert Jacobs.

This is really an outrage. I can only hope that the Saudi government will go after these terrorists. I'm fairly certain though that this will not be their choice of action. They may send some high-profile prince to go on Larry King Live and tell America that they are going to hunt these dogs down, but it'll be all for show.

When was the last time the Saudis actually apprehended any of these bastards?

Maybe after the US troops are out of Iraq, we should turn our attention southward?

As horrific as this is, nothing that jihadists do surprises me anymore.

Anyone still believe that this is not about religion - or what passes for it in their world?

They are of course pursuing Christians as well. When they seized a number of foreign nationals a few weeks ago, those who were released were Muslims who recounted tales of their captors asking who was Muslim and who was Christian. The Muslims were told to "grow beards and go home and pray".
The Christians were executed.

And with Paul Johnson, the latest captive, their missive stated that they had captured another "American Christian".

Saudis are merely reaping what they have allowed to be sown over the years. Their appeasement policies of course do not appease forever. One of their challenges is finding the courage to weed out Al-Qaeda sympathizers within their own military and police ranks.

My brother was in Saudi with his family for several years in the mid to late 80's as a contract employee with Northrop. I thank heaven he is not there right now.

Just because these fanatics have made it about religion doesn't mean you have to as well....

These fanatics are labeling (and killing) people by their religion, just as you have labelled muslims by theirs.

You can't get to the root of the problem without discussing religion. Jihadists are running their modern day crusade against modernity, and ignoring all aspects of that is irresponsible.

If you could take your nose out of that bucket of poutine your master feeds you, learn to read, learn to think, you would see it was against this group of fanatics and not an entire religion.
