The grassroots effort is still working for a better GC.

I had to take it out of my sig because it was making it too big.

I'll be putting it back shortly.

Glad to know we still have supporters out there.

Ya know, I'm kinda glad that there are those out there who AREN'T mods.

Makes ignoring just a tad bit easier.

ariesrising, it's a matter of the vBulletin software not allowing it not something John has set up, at all. THAT was why I posted the rolleyes icon earlier. The vBulletin software (i.e. what GreekChat runs on) does not allow moderators or administrators to be ignored by users; it's just not a possible option with the software as it's provided. There are 'hacks' created by end users which allow it in different ways, but these can be buggy, have to be reapplied whenever the main forum software is updated and can make the software more likely to fail i.e if it has all sorts of dubious patches applied. That's why there aren't any used on here (bar for example the recent threads front page which has been there for years).

Ignoring users normally in any case, still shows the post with a link to show the rest so doesn't make them that invisible. Consequently, to a lot of people extending the feature to moderators wouldn't make that much difference.

Hope that at least explains a little what I meant.

Well there is only one moderator that I want on ignore. I may not like or agree with everything the rest of the mods say from time to time, or like a lot of them very well for that matter, but they dont bother me, like the one I have in mind..........

That is really special.

There have been many Mods over the eons of GC who have been super ignorable.

If I am one then thank you very much. While I do not want to leave, I can and will along with several other Main posters
such as hootie, and jamom.

It is so sad that these people leave.
