if you are near the ocean....RED TIDE is the best date thing in the world.
i remember the first time i saw it...it was our 5th date, and we went to the beach by the hotel del in coronado island... deffinitly my best moment of july last summer...

Go bowling (cheesy, but fun), take a dance lesson (or any other type of class - cooking?), go to a dive bar where you can play bar sports (darts, shuffleboard, pool) - anything interactive will do!

I was about to say bowling. Bowling is great because there is a bar, you have something to do so it's not all talk and it's fun. If you have a hot girl but don't want to listen to the stupid crap she says, go to rock and bowl and make sure htere is plenty of loud music.

You have very good taste, Rudey! We used to go white-trash bowling when I was in school... we would wear Kiss or Harley shirts and pretend like we were serious. Lots of fun.

how about, Shopping? shopping is alawys fun to do.
how about teaching the other person how to do something ie. surfing, rollar blading, guitar...
or go do some arts and craft, pottery, shit like that.
or how about goin to the drivin range....

Haha that explains some of my high school dates.
Seriously, bowling is a great date! My HS friends and I also go when we're all back in town because it's a fun way to get to hang out, and the of-agers can drink...we're at the awkward cusp where half the group is 21 and half isn't.
