Yes, I saw the preview for this after the Soprano's went off. I can't wait to see it.

Ah the Mighty Mos Def. I hope that he represents with this role. He's working hard to get credible roles. Y'all remember him from the Cosby Mysteries?

Saw this after the Soprano's went off last night. I can't wait for it to come on HBO

Also, can't wait for Everyday People, another HBO original, seems like it might be good as well.

I just finished watching and this film moved me. It was very touching and special. I wish that more films had meaning and basis as this one. This was something that I never knew about and I am happy that this story was told. Mos Def is really coming into his own as an actor. I love him more everyday!

I'll keep my comments about the film until more people have seen it. I don't want to give it away.

I missed the first part of it. I caught it starting right were he got the pay raise and telephone line.

That should throw em off a lil, I hate spoilers.

I enjoyed it.

I wanna see Everyday People too.

One word...fantastic. I missed the first showing, but I saw a repeat early this morning. Story, cast, acting...wonderful.

"Well, a lot of things have changed. There's still quiet segregation in a lot of American life. In the climate he was living in, it was really the law of the land. I think nowadays, it's much more clandestine and not so easily detectable.

But in his day, coming up as a young man with a family, it was the law of the land; it was the letter of the law. And what appealed to me about Dr. Thomas is the way that he navigated and negotiated a relationship with himself in those environments.

You know, there's a way that the world feels about a man, and then there's a way that the man feels about himself. And I think Dr. Thomas had a very clear idea of who he was and what he wanted to do. And he just had this extraordinary focus, and he was a very sensitive and aware.

When he started to work in medicine, he was definitely an anomaly. And he stood out. He just negotiated a very different relationship with his surroundings that allowed him to stay focused and didn't disturb his aim. "

I did enjoy the show. I hope many watched in light of the fact the Sopranos was pre-empted last night.

I saw it last night and I loved it!! I watched again this morning! Great movie, wish there were more out there like it. I love Mos Def, he was great in this role!

I enjoyed this movie. I think Mos Def and Alan Rickman were great. Actually, the entire cast did a good job.

I saw it last night....I loved it, loved it, LOVED IT! I found myself tearing up at the end. I can't imagine how he felt when he was at the banquet listening to the Dr's speech. I am pleasantly surprised by Mos Def's performance, I really enjoyed it.
