Prayer Requests

Hello Fellow Sisters!

This idea came from another forum & thought we could do it here. If there is anyone that needs prayers, post them here. This may be just the thing some of our sisters, friends, family, etc. need.

Zeta Chapter member, Katie-Scarlett's father passed away just before she was to take her final exams for the semester. She is doing fairly well, under the circumstances. She & her family could really use some prayers.

It's strange how things work but this is exactly what I needed today I would like to ask my Sigma Alpha sisters to please add my grandma to your prayers. She just found out that her cancer is no longer in remission, in fact it has spread to her lymph tissue, lungs, and has also formed blastic leukemia in her bone marrow.
She was refered to U of M oncology and they reported that given her condition that she would not survive through the typical treatment. My family knows that she doesn't have much more time with us but I would like you to pray that her last days are painless and meaningful.

A big Sigma Alpha thank you to all of you!

co-worker needs prayers

Hi Sisters,
My co-worker's wife could use your prayers, as well as his family (they have two children). I'm not sure of the details since he's a private guy, but from what I gather she was sent the the hospital Friday and treated with huge doses of antibiotics, something with her heart. She's home now but I'm sure the prayers would help her recover more quickly!

Thanks everyone

Peace,

Shelley

Zeta President Laura Brumbaugh's aunt, who she is very close to, has just been given by her doctor 2 weeks to live.

Laura's aunt, Mrs. Margaret, was my 4-H leader in high school. My mom stopped by to see her the other day and said that she was not doing well at all. Please definitely keep her and her entire family in your prayers.

Unhappy From the Zeta Chapter

Stefanie Holden's father passed away Thursday after being involved in a terrible car accident. Some prayers for her and her family will be most appreciated in this very sad time.

Don't know if you had heard but Laura's aunt passed away on July 3. She was also the aunt of Jamie Berthelot Manotas.

Allison,

I had not heard about Laura's aunt. I was out of town that weekend. Thanks for letting me know. Laura had been having a difficult time with her aunt's illness. She & her family will remain in my prayers.

In light of the fact that 3 Zeta Members have experienced loss in the last 3 months, I am asking for prayers for the Zeta Chapter. Each of these members directly affected have served as officers in the past and two of them are also currently serving as officers. I pray that these young women are given the strength and comfort to go on in their personal endeavors as well as the endeavors as Sigma Alpha members & officers.

prayers please

Sisters,
A good friend of mine died 10/25 ...it was a total shock to all of us. Please keep her family and friends in your prayers...I know Jen is now in a better place and at peace, which helps me but I know all prayers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks sisters

Shelley
