Talking Valentines' Gifts

As Valentine's Day approaches, what will you be giving your mate, and what would you say is a reasonable price to pay on a gift?

I'll start: This year I bought my BF a suit. $250 which is reasonable for a man's suit. I didn't give him anything for Christmas, or his birthday last year, but he gave me beautiful gifts, so I guess I'm trying to make-up for it. He doesn't know I bought it, so he will be surprised.

Well I'm thinking of the scenario where I would let him follow a trail of notes until he found his valentine's gift. Now what the gift will be, I don't know!

Talking

I'm not sure if I'm getting anything for him this Valentine's Day. We might sit this one out. Anyway, he lives out of state and won't be heading this way until March, so we may do something then. Also my b-day is in March, his in April, so...

But, I will say the nicest V-Times Day I've had was when after dinner, my (ex) boyfriend then had tickets to a pro basketball game! Dinner and sports--that's the way to this woman's heart! Course, the flowers, candy and teddy bear didn't hurt either .

For V-Day, I'm giving him a CD of me playing some of my favorite compositions.
