It probably won't... everyone who would have ordinarily filled up today would have gotten gas yesterday or planned to buy it tomorrow. Total gas consumption won't change, just the day on which the gas was bought.

What would help is if we picked a day on which to make a special effort to carpool, use public transportation, or telecommute.

Still, it's the thought that counts.

It didn't really hit me until this week that the gas prices in Honolulu are crazy ridiculous.

Everytime you start getting mad about the prices in YOUR city, be glad that you're not in Hawai`i (who has the 2nd highest prices in the country behind California).

$2.38 for REGULAR. REG-U-LAR!!!

We here at OTW will most likely invest in a $40 bus pass next month.

I'm tired of this. All Bush has to due is let the oil go...free the oil Bush, free the oil.

Sometimes when I'm at the pump I just want to drive away

Is that wrong

Angry About to fill up

In the Big Orange, Kollyfornia. My neighborhood Chevron is selling 87 at $2.32 a gallon.

We at Steeltrap wish we could invest in a bus pass, but we need our car for work.

They had a joke about this on Letterman last night. It was a spoof commercial of the organization behind the boycott. It was like " Join us on May 19 for Gas Boycott Day in boycotting gas companies. We will refuse to purchase any gas on this day. Then, join us on May 20th for Buy Twice as Much Gas because We Didn't Buy Gas Yesterday Day" LOL.

All that gas money is costing me another Birkin replica.

OK, so a few days ago I was griping because I had to pay $2.099/g for premium.

This morning I saw that the same gas station was getting $2.099/g for REGULAR. Premium is $2.199/g. They upped it ten cents a gallon in three days.

I have to fill up tomorrow.

Gas prices are on the rise again here in the 'Cuse. I went to Sam's, which is supposed to have cheap gas, and it was $2.07/gallon. The Delta Sonic has gas for $2.00/gallon but you have to get your car washed as well. The highest I've seen regular gas here was about $2.15 but my Best Friend said where she lives it's like $2.20/gallon. I am so happy that winter is coming so I can go into hibernation and not drive so much.

I'm in "richville" New York. The regular unleaded is $2.25, so my roommate and I travel to New Jersey where it's like $1.80. Right when I left Georgia most recently, it was $1.56.

*I hate getting gas in NJ because it's all Full Service and they flip out when you try to get out of your car for anything. What makes it soooooooo bad is that sometimes it takes them FOREVER to pump your gas, so if you're in a hurry, you're outta luck.
