interfraternal greetings!
I was given a copy of the PHOENIX in late 1953 when the Kansas
State Sig Alphs rushed me. I voraciously read it, but did not go to
K-State...Ten others from my home town did and 8 pledged SAE.
The history is glorious; Noble Leslie DeVotie, the Buntings, Miss
Lucy, the emptied chapters for the war between the states, the
106 pairs of shoes John O Moseley owned...and on and on.
Today, all ALL chapters need mentors, active and helping alums.
I have kinda re-joined mine (TKE). When was the last time you stopped by an SAE chapter. extended your hand, and offered
your services? Fraternity is forever and you men have a glorious history...may you ever thrive, Phi Alpha....SAE. was and is, one
of America's finest...
Interfraternally, Erik P Conard, TKE, Denver alum chapter
