dress question
OK, I have a wedding this summer to go to. I am asked by the bride to find a pretty simple white summery dress for me to wear. It is a very casual wedding so the dress can be knee length. Can any one help me?

I agree, but it is what she wanted. She wants us in white or cream or ice ice blue.... I am following orders.

I think white is all right...who says the bride is wearing white, anyway? rainbowbright didn't tell us. I think I'll wear green to my own wedding, but anyway...back to the question. Are you asking where to get one, or like some idea of what style to look for?

That dress is great! I was gonna suggest something with an A-line skirt, like that one has, because they're very flattering on anybody.

I love that dress! I am normally a size 12 and a bit busty. BUT, I would SO wear that dress with a good strapless bra!

FYI, white weddings (with the entire wedding party in white) used to be very big in Britian. Maybe it still is - it's been a while.
If you're going to be doing a lot of "chores" during the wedding, I'd think twice about going strapless.

There's a girl on theknot selling some white JCrew linen tealength dresses. If you go to www.theknot.com and click on "talk" on the top of the page, go to "search boards" and enter "stuffforsale." It should pull up the knottie stuff for sale bio. Hope that helps

I was at Express today and they had a couple of really cute white dresses. Check it out.
