Angry Breast Milk Kills!!!!!!!

Just wanted to get your attention? But did any of you watch Law and Order last night. In case you didn't. It was about a young lady who was coercived into breastfeeding only. Getting to the point her baby starved to death right in front of her eyes and she failed to do anything about it. Yes, she consultated the lactation consultant and doctors but she failed to follow-up and her six-week old child died. She stop goign to visits when he was three-weeks. She was charged with second degree manslaughter.

Getting to the point. Since people was on the topic of breast milk. Did you know this actually happened to a young lady in New York? She wasn't allowed WIC because she said she was going to breastfeed and when she went to the clinic they turned her away because she had no means of paying. So her child died of malnutrition and they charged her with child abuse, negliect and somethign else. Anyway why did she receive the medicaid a week after the child's death...

What do you think about that?

Sorry about the mistakes.

Red face

What? Did this really happen? She must be crazy for real. How could she not know her baby was starving. A baby will cry when it's hungry.

I know that WIC in Indiana actually will give the mother more food and keep her on for a lot longer if she breastfeeds, thats the first I heard of something like that.

Sorry it took me so long to respond. But I had made conferences to attend. Anyways YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This really happen...And when she took the baby to the doctor's to find out why he was crying, they said everything was normal except he had a colic. I don't know much about colic. But I know sometimes that the doctor will switch the baby's formula to nutramigin or something. That's what happened to my cousin. She was breastfeeding and had to stop because of the child's colic.
