So I went to one of my best friends wedding yesterday . . .

It was surreal man. Before she came into the chapel, most of us were like in denial that it was actually happening. As the ceremony started, it started to make me think about my life. I got very philosophical about my life. Just random thinking about absolutely nothing.

It got me to think that here she is, 24 years old and married. Here I am, just turned 28 and nothing in sight. Sheesh, I'm getting was too philosophical.

That's why everyone should get married at 18. Then, you can be divorced by 20 and have both behind you.

Just kidding, of course.

You should have stabbed her. Think about how much better you'd look alive then her nursing a knife wound.

My dear, sweet Arya
Because you are YOU, I wanted to take the time to say something
that may impress you!

All of this is based on the way you have presented yourself and exchanges we have had.

I can honestly say-We would have been close friends had we met at the college level. Your astuteness amazes me, you humor delights me and your life views are/were similar to mine. You are a rare breed.

You are just now coming into the time when you are ready to meet someone compatible. Sooner may have placed you in a position of "authority" which is NOT something to build a relationship upon. Now is the "age" of finding someone who can be considered an equal. You NEED an equal. Do not spend your time with women whose mental agility is less than your own.
(I believe you understand this.) If you now open yourself-expose yourself-to educated women and perhaps accept a few flaws-as we ALL have flaws-you will find your mate...l You know where you WON'T find them. Look to places that interest you. She's there. Just waiting to find someone who SHE cannot dominate. I promise you this is true...or, I could just be full of @&#%. BUT, I'm USUALLY right!

I understand- two weekends ago I was in my oldest friend in the world's wedding (we've been best friends since kindergarten). I love her husband, but it was the most bizarre thing in the world, especially since at the reception me and another friend let the bouquet hit us instead of fighting over who would try to catch it.

I have another wedding to go to on Saturday... who knew what it would be like to watch ALL of your friends get married???
