Kinda curious what kind of degrees are held around here and are you doing what you want with them.
I hold 2 associates and a BS in Poli Sci....
as far as doing with them what i wish i was doing no. I went back and got my paralegal degree and done some work but not a lot to gain the exp i want. SO i run the family franchise business daily ops from home. Though were in process of selling the entire thing so now i am frantically searching for a position in a firm to be a family law paralegal

My B.A. is in English. I'm a trigonometry class away from an A.A. in Business Administration. I'm starting that class next week! Yay! Currently, I'm working on applications to graduate school...I keep changing my mind about my field of study, but I think I've decided on Public Administration.

I didn't finish my degree...yet. When I left school I was working towards a general B.A (no major), when I return I am going to complete my general B.A was with a specialization in Political Science.
I am going to Seneca College (a community college) in september to get my Law Clerk Diploma. Then it's back to Guelph to finish my degree which I am so close to getting.
ETA: I am working as a clerk for a media company (actually Rogers Communications for the Canadians...I'm sure you have heard of it ) I don't have an exciting job, and it's certainly not what a want to be doing with any sort of post secondary education. I'm not sure what kind of law interests me as of yet, but I am also looking at family law.

I have a degree in political science with a minor in sociology and I'm currently in law school. I have to say though, with the demand for patent attorneys I wish I had an engineering degree!

I have a degree in Liberal Arts, and I'm a receptionist. But really, I'm too lazy to get a *real* job, so I don't fully blame my crappy degree.

I have a BA Economics and Poli Sci with a second major in Ancient History/Classics, an MA (Oxon) (Taught) in Comparative Law and Legal Systems, and I am currently in Law School (2L second semester).
I am seriously considering Army JAG since I have had two tours of active duty, first: in Europe just after finishing my undergraduate degree, and second: last year in South West Asia where I had to take a leave of absense from school to report for duty.
If I decide not to go Regular Army I will stay in the reserve and see what opportunities might be out there. Although my grades are solid and I did well in Moot Court during first semester 2L, my Army call up meant no Law Review. To be honest I'm just as happy as Law Review types weird me out. In the UK they would be good Solicitors but very poor Barristers and Advocacy/Litigation is my first love. Well, actually, the Theta who got away was my first love, but you know what I mean.

I use my J.D. to do legal work in the areas of real estate, wills/probates. etc. (no litigation for me!). I primarily do title examinations for a title company (we have alot of oil & gas to worry about in West Texas, so it's an interesting puzzle sometimes), and then I do alot of the curative work involved to clear clouded titles.
Trying to grow my business to include foreclosures and am thinking about getting my license to become an Escrow Agent so I can do my own closings as well....
Before law school, I used my BS in Speech Comm to be a corporate trainer and contract negotiator for a major managed care company in Dallas.

I have a degree in Information Systems, but I'm currently working on my JD.
I'm going to take the bar, but I don't know if I ever want to practice. I hate law school, and I hate my job as a law clerk.
I'd like to get back into IT, actually.

My degree is in English & Psychology, with an Early Childhood Education Certification. I'm now a geriatric counselor. It's not a big leap at all!

I have a B.A. in Music and a B.S.B.A. in Business Administration & Law. I work currently as a labor & employment law paralegal. I do plan on going to law school within the next 2-3 years, but I think I might either obtain my M.B.A. first or do a dual-enrollment program whenever I start law school.
