Rudey - I know what you are saying -- there are a lot of people who feel like this, especially after losing a pet. It is hard to lose a pet, but knowing that Hobbes had a better life with me (he was being mistreated before we got him), makes up for the sadness of saying goodbye to him. I hope that if you do get a pet, you'll know that the good times don't go away when a pet dies.

Watch Pete's Dragon -- it is more than just a kid movie -- it has such a good theme, and I love how Pete and Elliott were able to help each other out even though they weren't together for very long!

I always tear up when I see threads like this.

I grew up with 4 cats, and as we lost them one by one I went through all the things you are. Several years later, I still cry sometimes when I think of them. But I know that we gave them a good life, that they were loved and gave love in return, and I'll see them one day again in Heaven.

You've got a lot of us here who know exactly what you're feeling, we've all been there, and it's perfectly natural. We'll all be thinking of Spice, and she's making lots of animal friends up in Heaven while she waits to see you again.

*hugs*

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your cat.

Take care.

I am so very sorry for your loss. It is absolutely understandable to grieve over the loss of a pet. They are members of your family. I always cry when I read news like this, and you will be in my thoughts. I'm going to go hug my kitties now.

I'm sorry to hear about Spice. I understand fully what you are going through. All my cats are my "babies". At one point I had 6 cats and within a year and a half I lost 5 of them due to illness and old age. My heart broke when each one of them crossed over the rainbowbridge. But I know that they'll all be there waiting for me someday.

In the meantime all the GCrs beloved pets were on there welcoming Spice and will be watching out for him as they all watch over us.

HUGS

That made me cry........and you are right. I still think of our Yorkie Whitney up there in a better place where she can hear and see again and doesnt have cancer. It makes it a little better to look at it like phisigduchesscv said. (((hugs))) to all the GCrs who lost there little loved ones.
