Ask your new member coordinator.. She will be able to help you. Dont worry, one of the new members in my class went through the same thing, but everything worked out in the end. Let us know what happens!! Good luck...
My pledge pin got run over on the way to a chapter meeting and I just asked for another one. It's not a huge deal if you lose it. Some other groups at my school will make you wear a sign or another stupid thing if you lose your pin, but we don't. I always thought that humiliating a nm in any way was hazing, but maybe I'm wrong

I lost my pin during prefs one year. It's no big deal. There were a quite a few girls in my chapter that lost their pins and had to buy knew ones. It stinks when you have to pay that money all over again while you're on a college budget. Your new member coordinator should be able to order you a new pin. I asked our's and I had my pin a few weeks later. The only thing is that you'll be pin-less during meetings until your order comes in.
