Smile The Most Beautifullest Thang in the World

what's some of the sweetest and beautiful moments you experience? i love to see how calm things are outside right before the rain. i love to watch it rain and the sun shine at the same time. i love the way a baby squeezes your finger and the way they rest their head on your shoulder when you hold them. i love to see the little kids in Sunday School reviewing the lesson. I love to see the little kids in the church drill teams. i love to see an elderly couple holding hands. i love to see an elderly lady that will still have a nails painted and her lipstick on. it's the simple things in life that i love.

I hope life isn't a big joke, because I don't get it.

Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes. That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words - "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean ? It's a mystery, and that's why so is mankind

Well, I agree that I love the simple things in life also. I like:

1. Watching my children play games with each other (like tag).

2. Hearing my children laugh (it's the best thing in the world).

3. For my husband to say my name (I love it when he calls me by his pet name for me, but he seems to say my name in a way that NO OTHER man has said it).

4. Sitting at the dinner table with my family (husband and children).

5. When atleast ONE of my clients to FINALLY GETS IT. I'm a counselor and if I can help atleast ONE that makes all of the difference.

6. Taking nice, long, hot, and soapy bathes (this is my favorite way to relax).

7. Smelling a newborn baby.

8. Looking at my family album (I reflect on my pregnancies, my wedding, my childhood).

9. Talking to my husband.

10. Riding around and looking at beautiful houses in different neighborhoods.

These are just a few, but there are many more. I'm a country girl (from South Carolina). Life has, for the most part, been relatively simple for me. And I'm glad that it still is---give or take a few things.

Talking

1) I know this sounds cheesy, but being in love.
2) Listening to an older person talk about their youth.
3) Going to bed after the perfect day has passed.

Here is my list....

Cooling down after completing my spinning class.
Stretching at the end of my workout.
Taking long hot baths with candles lit.
Singing in the shower or tub.
Going to sleep after a long day of work and play.
Being around my family during the holidays.
Eating good food when I am really hungry.

Like others my list goes on....

Seeing any member of my family smile.
Laughing with my mom.

The Sweetest Moments:

**Anything that I see young children do: smiling, laughing, playing, the way their little hands touch your face as if they are exploring

**listening to my grandmother or great-grandmother talk about absolutely anything

**being in a public place and my sweetie grabs my hand to hold

**bellylaughing

**reuniting with my sands

**reading a good book and loving the way it ends

**raising my windows and letting the rain lull me to sleep

There are so many....

The day after my wedding. It was when I realized how blessed I was to be married to my best friend.

I love it when its the first day of a warm early spring day and it is so clear. I like to look up, breathe in the air and thank God for the blessing.

To see my first sonogram. It is a humbling experience to know that you are responsible for creating such a glorious creature.

Seeing cats asleep. They look so peaceful and beautiful.

Christmas morning just when day breaks and the lights are still on. I love looking at the tree and smelling the sweet pine.

Weeks after I graduated when it hit me that I had finally did it!! That sigh of relief was a beautiful thing.
