Thanks, Craig

ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL 6 TO OFFICIALLY OPEN THE 2004 WINTER MUSIC CONFERENCE, INITIAL LINEUP ANNOUNCED.

Ultra Music Festival, America's Premier Dance Music Massive, To Officially Open The 2004 Winter Music Conference.

Press Release.....

The ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL, America's premier electronic music event, returns for its sixth annual installment on March 6, 2004 from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. at beautiful Bayfront Park in downtown Miami, Florida.

"1,000,000 watts of sound - 50,000+ party people 200+ Artists, DJs, producers - 14 hours nonstop - 12 stages + YOU!"

Ultra is now the #1 music festival

In 2003, over 40,000 dance music enthusiasts passed through Ultra's turnstiles and witnessed the most talent-laden festival lineup that a U.S. event has ever offered. With an anticipated 50,000+ attendees this year, Ultra is now the #1 music festival of its kind in the United States. Ultra Music Festival 2004 is sponsored by D'VOX Magazine, Miami's Party 93.1 FM, Budweiser and Coolworld.com, and sponsored nationally by Armani Exchange, FYE,Hard Rock Café,Pioneer Pro DJ, Allen&Heath, Freefloat and Dynacord...

The Story

The Ultra Music Festival was co-founded by CEO and executive producer Russell Faibischand Alex Omes, president, and publisher of the music publication D'VOX Magazine. Now in its sixth year, the annual Ultra Music Festival event is held every March in Miami, Florida to coincide with the abundance of International talent in Miami for the annual Winter Music Conference (the dance music industry's premiere summit and showcase of talent). Although never officially connected, this year, Ultra Music Festival and the Winter Music conference will for the first time join forces to present the festival as the official opening event. The WMC couldn't have chosen a better vehicle to open its festivities than The Ultra Music Festival - America's largest and most celebrated dance music festival! "Our alliance with WMC is very important to us. I hope it rubs off and more people put profits to the side and come to the table to support what is the world's most important week for dance music, period." says co founders Alex Omes and Russell Faibisch. WMC director Bill Kelly adds, "Ultra Music Festival sets the tone for the entire week. I think it adds momentum to the conference, and by Wednesday people will leave in a dizzy." In addition, also on board for the sixth installment is associate producer Sason Bishope Parry and production designer Nick Assunto.

World of Dance

Unlike the American dominated rock n' roll and Hip-Hop industries, artists residing overseas are the ones known for making the most substantial dance music; and as a consequence, more often than not, these artists do not get the exposure they rightly deserve - this is where Ultra Music Festival comes in. Ultra Music Festival provides the rare chance for some of the most forward thinking DJs, producers and live acts in the world of dance music to unite in one place, as one nation. With the exception of a few well-known festivals in Europe (Creamfields, etc,) there is simply not a place where dance music comes together in such a way. Ultra Music Festival happens to be the only event of this caliber that occurs in the United States. "We are very excited about Ultra 6. We have added many new elements to keep the show fresh and moving forward. This will be our most advanced production ever," says Russell Faibisch. This year, Ultra Music Festival will feature a coming together of the superstars and the future stars - Appearing for the first time in five years, and DJing for the first time ever in Miami, The Chemical Brothers will be rockin' your block alongside the biggest names in dance music which includes Paul van Dyk, Tiesto, Sasha, John Digweed and Paul Oakenfold. As If it couldn't get any better, you'll also be introduced to a diverse new crop of cutting-edge artists who fuse live punk rock and electronica including The Rapture, LCD Soundsystem, 2 many djs, Erol Alkan, Miss Kittin, ADULT and Chromeo. At Ultra Music Festival you will have the extraordinary chance to stay ahead of the game by experiencing a compelling array of artists who will soon be making major noise across the world. Ultra Music Festival is the place for you to get some face time with artists that simply don't make it over to the States.

The price is cheap as hell, usually you'll pay 50$ just to see one of those DJs. Its a lot of fun. I hope some of you can make it.

sororitygirl2-

I'll get to that PM asap, I've been busy lately with getting ready for UMF 2004 and the WMC.

Look you fat bastard, why do you insist on talking to people who are 10 years younger than you and who want nothing to do with you. You're in your 30s Russell, you're not married, no kids and you insist on hitting on 21/22 yr old girls on the internet. For the last time, go get a life and do something with yourself!

Please people, he obviously doesn't even provide any fun since he isn't the most brilliant kid. Please just shame him - that is all.

You telling anyone to get a life is really funny. You just may have a sense of humor afterall. Or you're just blinded by that special segment of your political affiliation:

If I had to nominate one of you for the geek chat king award, I'd be caught between a rock and a hard place. You two obviously are long lost brothers, Russell being the original a$$ packer.
I'm going to start calling Russell " Russell Repeat". If you want to get under my skin you need to come up with something original, Russell. And Rudey, anything coming from a red headed computer nerd like you is hilarious. When was the last time you got laid from someone other than a prostitute?
