Alexandria is D.C., sister. I've been here all of my life so any area surrounding the city I consider D.C. meaning Montgomery, Prince Georges, Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, etc.....
Would love to hear from you. I am all about unity.
Plus, I have an important question for you!!!
Can I contact you by e-mail?

Its not really that bad, except in bad weather, you know how this area shuts down. But I love the drive, I'm not a public transportation type of gal. I love being in my car bopping to my music. But when I get home I love the peace and quite of my neighborhood. I'm not to far from DC my favorite clubs, Zanzibar & the Gardens, not to mention the Ques in the Qitchen during the spring and summer.

Reds 695, surely we have seen each other in the last year!! These are some of my favorite spots. BTW, do you know what is up with the Ques in the Qitchen? The last time I was with them was the picnic in S.W. back in September. They don't do any cooking in the winter? I sure am hungry!
No I don't live in the Villages but one of my Sorors I visit sometimes does.
What's up with the rest of you in D.C.? Manndingo NUPE and Zeta Ace -- we all need to get together!!

I'm not a member of any org.
But,
I am a NATIVE Washingtonian. I live here and work here. I love my city and some go-go some times. (I'm starting to get too old for that) The only thing I don't do is go to school here. I'm feeling the need for a DC greekchat get together

Girl, you aint never too old for go-go. Don't you know how old Chuck Brown is? (the god-father of go-go)
I'm down for a GC get-together -- Zanzibar? BET Soundstage? Jaspers? (What's that place at 14th &U?) Any others?
Let me reduce it some (ha!ha!) Classics? HangTyme? ClubElite?
I'm in PG County.

Reign,
U R talkin about Republic Gardens. I'm not big on clubs personally but anything is possible. I think they will discriminate against me because i'll only be twenty in a few week. But let me know some chill type spots in DC. My fav is a coffeehouse called Tryst in Adams Morgan...It's fully equiped with a full bar and table service in the evenings...oh and there are couches. It's like being in your living room with a bunch of strangers. but i love it.
