Miss California is from my local!!!

One of the best part about being local is that we only have one chapter, So when i say one of my sisters, i can personally say i know her!

Well one of my sisters has always been competing in pagents. She has finally has won the title of Miss California and will be competing in Miss USA. We are all excited for her and wish her the best of luck!!!

And today i saw her on MTV news talking with the band Maroon 5, how cool is that!!

Thats awesome. There's an AST who will be in the Miss. USA pagent this year too. She's from the Upsilon chapter.

So I saw Ellen, Miss California at a Bridal shower last night. She told me all about the pagent. Being hometown girl she admits she got a lot of media attention. She did interviews with MTV, E, ET...and more. When the girls went to the Dodgers Game she was the one on the field during the game while the others were in the stands. She told us stories about the Promotion parties, her woredrobe being awesome the "Camera Hos" And how she felt that it was a campaign for certain girls. She knew from day 1 that certain girls were going to be in top5 because of the attention they got and low and behold those girls were. She was aslo amazed on the plastic everyone had. Ellen is all natural. And she told us how some girls have had multiple boob jobs as well as multiple face jobs (one girl had multiple both) Please know that the past 4 years i have known Ellen she has always been the type to tell it how it is. I truly dont think she said this because she didnt make top 15, of course like any girl who didnt she was a little upset but she mentioned that there were other girls extremely pissed about it. She is proud that she gave it her all, and even though she didnt make it to top 5 she said it was a great experience. She mentioned that most of the girls were complete sweethearts and they all had a great time. Oh and i think one of the funny things about the pagent...Did ya'll see those guys waving those flag things espe4cially during the swimsuit competition (i think). Well at one of the promotion parties they were spotted at a club and were asked to be apart of the pagent. Random huh!?

Well i just thought this would be a little fun 411 from somoen who was in the pagent.
