Chapters who have AOII AI
Has your chapter initiated an Alum Initiate? If so, yell out.
Vanderbilt (Nu Omicron) has initiated at least 3 AI of which I know.
Cumberland University (Lambda Omicron) initiated at least one AI at their colonization.
Middle Tennessee State University (Rho Omicron) has initiated many AI including several women currently and previously working at IHQ.
Support AI! It builds our sisterhood and allows wonderful women the opportunity to participate in a life-long bond.

I think that Pi Alpha has done at least 3-4 AIs, the first was in the mid-late 1980s!

Since I was initiated in 1996 Nu Beta has done at least 15. We have lots of members who mothers went to college but were not in a sorority. We also had one professor a few years ago who was our scholarship adviser and she was initiated as well. And guess what? My mom is finally getting initiated this Feb. 29!

We have initiated about 5 since we started in 2001! Two of them were last November.

When I was a collegiate, we at Gamma Omicron (Univ. of Florida) initiated a few, including one to become our chapter advisor. Gamma Theta (Univ. of South Florida) just initiated my mother this past December. That was really cool.

Where is there info on doing AI? My president is looking for it because a few mothers are really interested, but we've never done it before!

AI Info
Call Sherry Haman at IHQ. She can send you out an AI packet which has a large brochure for giving to prospective AI, an application, and a concise list of steps for AI. If you would like to know more about the exact steps or if I can help, please PM me.
I am so glad that your chapter is open to AI. AI is an excellent opportunity to expand the boundaries of AOII and to respect women at all stages of their lives. Kudos to you!
Just a side note....EVERY AOII benefits from AI. AI women serve at IHQ, fill our Alumnae Chapters, and volunteer to serve our collegiate chapters. AI have all of the benefits of membership in the fraternity. AOII has even had an Past International President who was AI.
Roses,
Silver
