Sorry to easedrop on your thread again - but try #9999CC or #CCCCFF (just put them in the color code in place of the word)test test

Our EO Convention is this week; I'm going to email some of the ladies who will be there (hoping that they have their laptops!) and maybe they can spread the word!

Why, I'm just so happy, I think I'm going to faint dead away...!

And also a neat idea to spread the word through Convention!

*sigh* I wish I could be at Convention this year! Hopefully next time!
   | I keep promising myself that I'll make a Convention some day. This summer, I have two, and just couldn't justify the expense! Remember the Diamond lavalier? One of my good friends got hers at a Convention - seems that they "try on" a few products to see if they'll sell before offering them through the Gift Mart!

I emailed 6 ADPis who I know will be at the Convention, but I forgot to mention the lavender (rats!). One automated response came back that she's out of the office until June 30th. Another (the one with the <> lavalier!) has a husband who will contact her, I'm sure.

HotDamnI'mAPhiMu - what is your real name, so you can get some credit for this lovely idea? Feel free to just give us your first name, or pm me, if you'd like the privacy.

MeridionaleDG - you're certainly not crashing "our" thread! Thank you for the wonderful idea! I do a (very low maintenance!) message board & found these colors:
 Macon Magnolias

 Macon Magnolias

 Ladies, any preference?

 | How exciting! I wish I could have made it to Convention this year.. I just wish I would have known before so I could save up some $$ to go! And it's soooooo nearby!!!! hehehe.. oh well.. going to Convention another time will give me an excuse to travel
That's so awesome your friend got her <> lavelier at Convention! That's incredible.. I really love it and hope I will be able to afford one someday!!!

One of our chapter advisors said they have our black diamond badges at half the cost at Convention? How fun! I may have to get one of those beautiful jeweled ones sometime too!!!

Actually, my friend was my pharmacist! Until that store closed, anyhow. She & I try to help the local chapter as much as possible (she's more successful at it, though!), and she's held some office or the other in the EO structure for ages. I'm always asking her to remind me of her current title!
The funny thing is that we're both redheads. After a couple of years of bid matching, we brought in another ADPi to learn, since (at the time) I was moving. She, too, was a redhead. I think it was the DZ Advisor who said, "Do you have to be a redhead to be an ADPi?" We always got a kick out of that - especially because when I was an active, 20% of our sisters DID have red hair!

I dont think I saw it on here so if I am repeating ..sorry!
Alpha Phi has Alpha Chapter at Syracuse Univ.
Alpha Gamma Delta has Alpha Chapter at Syracuse Univ. (sp?)
Gamma Phi Beta also has Alpha Chapter at Syracuse
and we are often called the Syracuse Triad. I feel similar bonds to these members. I think of them as "cousins"
What I think is neat about the Syracuse triad is we all share at least one greek letter with both of the other groups!

Sorry to bust in on your thread, ladies, but I'm a Macon Magnolia, too... for a different reason, though. I'm a Macon girl through and through. Born and raised there, just like all the rest of my family members. |

I love my hometown, and it's a great place to raise children. Unfortunately, my Yankee husband won't agree to move there with me.

dzrose, I'd say divorce him but at least he had the sense to marry a lovely DZ so he can't be all bad.
 texas*princess, I think most of us are using color CC66FF. So instead of writing [ color=red ] write [ color=CC66FF ]
