I think that gift cards are a great idea, but you can look at it in 2 ways. They are simple and you can knock out a lot of things with one stone, but, like my father says, it also means that you didn't really put that much time into getting them a present that was from your heart. He gets really upset about gift cards. My mom on the other hand, this past holiday, she bought like 10 for every one. No thinking on her part!

First of all...Hello to all, I'm new, friendly, and I love to post!

Now that I 've gotten that out of the way.....

For Xmas, my mother gave me a gift card to Cosi (a coffee bar), At first i was kinda pissed, that she just didn't use the twenty bucks towards a text book or something like that, but after a week where my pockets were on Empty, and a girl's stomach was making those "funny noises" that gift card became the best thing in the world!

So I guess.... I like em'..when it comes in handy...

I love gift cards due to the fact I am hard to shop for. With the gift card people don't have to worry about what I like just what stores I like.

I really don't mind gift cardZ. I buy them for otherz, people give them to me az giftz, etc. They aren't that bad. If I happen to get a gift card for a store I don't like, I'll just give it away. One personz trash is another person'z treaZure.

I love gift cards. I give them out a lot too. I usually keep up with the places where everybody likes to shop. But I also like to give out those restaurant gift cards to places they haven't eaten at before. That gives them at least a freebie chance to try out a new restaurant.

I like gift cards, especially if they come from places I like (Tar-gee, Wal-Mart, Best Buy, etc).
